CARBIDE LAMP BRASS TYPE POCKET REPAIR KIT INCLUDING NEW TIP AND OTHER PARTS

Description

Brand New carbide cap lamp pocket repair kit, consisting of brass-type case, brand-new (NOS) standard tip, felt, rubber gasket, 3 flints, 3 handled wire reamers, and small brass cleaning brush.  All parts should fit most standard cap-lamps. The contents are a combination of parts I assembled from various sources to recreate this kit, which was originally produced and distributed by Tennessee Mining Products Corporation last century. These burner tips  were produced by TMPC from an unknown manufacturer, and should fit most standard caplamps including Justrite, Autolite, Guy's Dropper, Premier, Butterfly etc. However, some models of some lamps (especially very early models) had unusually shaped tips and these might not work, or might require some slight filing to make them fit. The case is a brass-type metal with screw lid almost identical to that of a small mason-jar lid. The felts and gasket are original Justrite parts, the handled wire reamers and brass brush are recent items I outsourced, and the flints are original Premier flints. This is a fun, nostaligic kit to own, and will make a nice addition to any collection or more importantly great for actual use.
